For hosts
Funerl connects families planning a celebration of life with private spaces that feel right for the occasion. Land, water, a garden, a boat. If it's somewhere beautiful, it belongs here.

Most celebrations of life run 2–4 hours. Your space earns while the gathering happens. Then everyone goes home. No overnight stays, no wear, no fuss.
Your hourly rate. Which days. How many guests. What's allowed. Whether ash scattering is permitted. Approve every booking individually, or turn on instant booking.
Families come to Funerl because they want somewhere real, not a banquet hall. A celebration of life held on your land, your boat, your vineyard becomes part of how someone is remembered.
How it works
1
Create an account as a host and describe your space: location, type, capacity, and what you want guests to know. Add photos that show the space honestly. Set your hourly rate and the hours you want to be available. Most hosts finish their first listing in under 30 minutes.
2
Guests search by city and by what their loved one cared about: the water, open land, gardens, the quiet. Funerl matches their search to your listing tags. When your space fits what they need, it shows up. You don't need to advertise or manage inquiries outside the platform.
3
When a guest requests your space, you'll see the date, party size, duration, and a note from the family. Review it and accept or decline — no pressure, no penalty for declining. If you turn on instant booking, confirmed guests can book without a request.
4
Greet the family when they arrive, point out parking, and make sure the space is ready. After that, step back and let them be together. Most gatherings run two to four hours. When they leave, you're done.
5
Payment is collected from the guest at booking and held securely. After the gathering takes place, Funerl releases your payout through Stripe. Funds typically arrive within two business days. You can track everything from your host dashboard.
