Search by place and feeling
Enter the city or region where you want to gather. Then describe what the person loved: the water, open land, wildflowers, the quiet. Funerl uses those words to surface places that actually fit, not just ones that are nearby.
Browse real listings
Each listing shows photos, capacity, hourly price, and what's included. Read about the space, the host, and what other families have said. No pressure to commit until you're ready.
Book or send a request
Some spaces offer instant booking and confirm the moment you book. Others ask for a request first, and hosts typically respond within a day. Your card is not charged until the booking is confirmed.
Arrive and be present
Hosts handle parking, basic setup, and the quiet logistics of the space. You handle the people. Most gatherings run two to four hours — long enough to do something meaningful, short enough to stay unhurried.
Pricing
All prices are per hour, all-in. No service fees added at checkout for guests.
Cancellations
Cancel more than 7 days out for a full refund. 3–7 days out, 50% is returned. Within 3 days, no refund.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Hosts are paid out after the gathering takes place.
